Dr. Jace King, DVM

With 19 years of experience treating small animals, livestock, and horses, Dr. King was raised on a horse and cattle ranch where he learned practical, lifelong animal-husbandry experience that he brings to his work. He continues to run cattle and raise Quarter Horses at his ranch. Dr. King provides a wide range of care and services including routine and preventative care, lameness, dentistry, and select minor surgeries. Known for a clear, practical, and patient-focused approach, Dr. King is dedicated to evidence-based medicine and the long-term health of animals from household pets to ranch and performance horses. Even if you just need a health certificate, Dr. King and LVHR have you covered.

 

Dr. King will be available starting tomorrow, Monday December 1, 2025, from 6pm to 9pm, taking appointments every half hour at 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm, and 8:30pm. Dr. King will also be available at other times during the December 1 to 14 rodeo season. Dr. King will be working Mondays, Tuesdays, and if necessary, Wednesdays 6pm to 9pm taking appointments every half hour. Dr. King will also be available for outcalls for other horse owners at their ranches or properties.
